What do you imagine when the idea of a beautiful yard comes to mind? Many people envision a weed - free, lush green lawn. Our goal at Rocco Macchia Incorporated is to provide our customers with this as the end result. Whether it is an emaculate lawn needing to be maintained with proper nutrients or a lawn needing help through renovation or reseeding, we are here to help.
Rocco Macchia Incorporated has selected high quality products, only available to Turf Care Professionals, that have been thoroughly tested for results and safety to both the consumer and the environment. The high quality products we use allow us to create beautiful lush green lawns.
We offer 3 different programs depending on the needs and wants of the customer:
STANDARD PROGRAM
Our Standard Program is six applications that uses a combination of Pre-Emergent, Broadleaf Weed Control, Insect Control, and different types of Slow Release Fertilizer spread throughout the seasons at the correct times, based on life/growth cycle of the turf.
DELUXE PROGRAM
The Deluxe Program has all the same great applications as our Standard Program with the addition of a fall Core Aeration. See below for benefits of Core Aeration.
PREMIUM PROGRAM
The Premium Program is the best program we offer. It combines both Standard and Deluxe Programs with the addition of Overseeding done at the time of the Core Aeration. This program will allow you to have a lush weed free lawn year after year by introducing new grass and grass species into the existing lawn.
CORE AERATION and OVERSEEDING
Aeration removes thousands of small cores of soil 1-3" in length from your lawn. These cores melt back into the lawn after a few rainfalls and/or waterings. The holes created by aeration catch fertilizer, water, and grass seed. Grass seed cultivates and turf roots naturally grow toward these growth pockets and turf thickens in the process. Aeration also relieves pressure from compacted soils, letting oxygen and water move more freely into the root zone.
Overseeding at the time of Aeration is an excellent way to re-establish damaged and/or deteriorated turf areas. Summer stress, soil compaction, thatch buildup, and disease activity all affect turf density and overall health.
Aeration helps to correct all of these lawn problems and overseeding introduces new, healthy, vigorous turf to the lawn.
